Long Garden – Box
The tall pleached trees rebalance the narrowness of the garden by creating a strong vertical element. They are trimmed to a height which preserves the distant views beyond but doesn’t reduce the screening of the houses immediately below.
Before the trees were planted the houses at the bottom of the garden were very noticeable.
A sunny seating area nestles at the bottom of the garden, beyond the twin pairs of pleached trees.
Plants spill out onto the lawn, softening the hard lines of the formal layout.
An easy to grow group of plants make a pretty combination.
